Integration Engineer Intern
**Role Summary**
Work 11 weeks as a full‑time (40 hrs/wk) intern in a medical device setting, building, testing, and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems. Tasks include developing APIs, data pipelines, automation scripts, monitoring with DataDog and Azure dashboards, and creating proof‑of‑concept integration solutions in cloud environments.
**Expactations**
- Complete full 11‑week program (June 1 – Aug 10) with 40 hrs weekly.
- Work independently while collaborating with a mentor and team.
- Organize and manage assigned tasks, submit deliverables on time.
- Problem‑solve, apply new knowledge, and document integration processes.
- Contribute to discussions on reliability, scalability, and best practices.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Design, develop, and test integrations using Boomi, CDATA, and Microsoft Azure Services.
2. Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, and automation scripts.
3. Monitor and troubleshoot integrations via DataDog and Azure dashboards.
4. Create proof‑of‑concept solutions for new integration patterns.
5. Configure and deploy integration workflows in cloud environments.
6. Document data mappings, technical specifications, and integration procedures.
7. Collaborate with mentors on error handling, performance optimization, and reliability improvements.
**Required Skills**
- Programming proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or SQL.
- Experience or knowledge of Boomi, CDATA, Microsoft Azure, or similar integration tools.
- Familiarity with API development, data integration concepts, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to use monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, Azure dashboards).
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s program (sophomore, junior, or senior).
- Major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum GPA 3.0.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
