Job Description
**Job Title:** Supply Chain Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the design, optimization, and scaling of end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a fast‑growing direct‑to‑consumer consumer goods brand. Serve as a hands‑on individual contributor and strategic partner to the General Manager, driving inventory planning, 3PL and last‑mile logistics, manufacturer coordination, and new‑product supply chain support while establishing processes for future team growth. **Expectations:** - Customer‑obsessed mindset with focus on seamless delivery experience. - Self‑driven and comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments. - Resilient problem‑solver who creates innovative, data‑driven solutions. - Collaborative leader able to work across marketing, product, and support teams. - Detail‑oriented executor with a proven record of meeting deadlines and surpassing goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and scale systems for inventory planning, order fulfillment, and logistics. - Strengthen and expand 3PL warehouse relationships; improve last‑mile delivery efficiency and cost. - Manage manufacturer relationships, production schedules, quality standards, and lead times. - Support new product development through vendor sourcing, cost analysis, and feasibility studies. - Continuously improve supply chain processes for efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence. - Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives across manufacturing to delivery. - Partner with the GM to develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with product expansion. - Lead strategic supply chain projects to achieve business milestones. - Monitor, measure, and report key supply chain metrics; generate actionable insights. - Design infrastructure and processes to enable future operations team scaling. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, customer support) to ensure seamless execution. **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years supply chain operations experience, preferably in DTC e‑commerce or rapid‑growth startup. - Hands‑on experience sourcing and managing production with manufacturers in China and the USA. - Proven management of 3PL partnerships, warehouse optimization, and last‑mile logistics. - Strong analytical abilities; proficiency in data analysis and KPI reporting. - Ability to design and implement scalable supply chain systems and processes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proficiency with Shopify (or similar e‑commerce platforms) and basic ERP/warehouse management tools. - Strategic thinking combined with execution focus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Preferred: Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent; however not mandatory if experience is demonstrable.
