Job Description
Job title: Business Developer / Sales Engineer Role Summary: Develop and grow a client portfolio for digital transformation consulting services, driving new business acquisition and managing existing accounts to achieve revenue and profitability targets. Expectations: - Open and expand new accounts while maintaining and growing relationships with current clients. - Deliver at least 40% of the annual activity in new client acquisition and 60% in account nurturing. - Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and profitability objectives; present regular progress reports to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Prospect, negotiate, and close high-value structured service contracts. - Participate in RFP responses, prepare proposals, and present engineering talent for project delivery. - Define resource plans and ensure successful project execution for assigned clients. - Build and maintain a business plan and sales strategy; monitor and report on activity, results, and forecast. - Mentor and support onboarded teammates and contribute to client retention. - Provide 80% ‘chasing’ (prospecting) and 20% ‘raising’ (account nurturing) balance in sales activities. - Use Office Suite, Boondmanager CRM, and Teams for communication and report creation. Required Skills: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills in French and English. - Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT consulting, infrastructure, or digital transformation. - Ability to manage complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals. - Competence in preparing RFP responses and business proposals. - Comfortable with Excel for financial modeling, PowerPoint for presentations, and Teams for collaboration. - Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented with a strategic mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Proven sales track record; certifications in sales methodology (e.g., SPIN Selling, Salesforce) are a plus.
