Job Description
Job Title: Sr. Research Fellow (SRFP) Role Summary Provide comprehensive mentorship and guidance for candidates to design, conduct, and publish policy research papers. Facilitate independent research in a virtual setting, ensuring methodological rigor, data-driven analysis, and impactful dissemination. Expectations - Must be enrolled in or have completed a Master’s or Doctoral program. - Demonstrate self‑sufficiency in remote work and ability to meet project milestones. - Engage with interdisciplinary peers and experts. - Produce a research paper that earns a DOI and is submitted to academic or policy journals. Key Responsibilities - Learn and apply the institute’s research methodology framework. - Select and develop a researchable topic aligned with policy or human‑rights themes. - Conduct literature review, data collection, and statistical or qualitative analysis. - Draft, revise, and finalize research manuscripts for publication. - Collaborate with faculty, industry professionals, and stakeholders to refine research design and findings. - Prepare policy briefs or recommendations based on research outcomes. - Submit completed work to the open‑source publication portal and secure DOI registration. Required Skills - Strong academic writing and editing abilities. - Proficiency in research design, data analysis, and evidence‑based policy formulation. - Competency in virtual collaboration tools (video conferencing, shared documents). - Time‑management and deadline‑adherence in remote work settings. - Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate findings to diverse audiences. Required Education & Certifications - Current enrollment in or completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree (any discipline). - Successful completion of the Senior Research Fellowship certification program (fee: €498).
