**Job title**: Deputy Operations Director
**Role Summary**
Lead the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑availability mobile communication network for security, rescue, and health forces, coordinating the Control Centre, managing critical incidents, and ensuring the performance and resilience of 4G/5G services.
**Expectations**
• Co‑manage network operations with the Director, driving strategic and operational excellence.
• Maintain 24/7 service continuity, optimise performance, and prepare for crisis conditions.
• Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Deliver clear, timely communication to stakeholders and end‑users.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Supervise the Control Centre (CCO) and coordinate response to incidents and alarms.
• Plan, monitor, and optimise operations on external network infrastructure.
• Provide Level‑3 support for RRF users and resolve complex incidents.
• Conduct risk assessment, incident analysis, and post‑mortem improvement actions.
• Manage MVNO, IMS, VoLTE, and MCPTT/MCDATA/MCVIDEO services.
• Oversee OSS/BSS, EMM, API/SDK integration and cloud hosting environments.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental emergency response and crisis management efforts.
**Required Skills**
• Expertise in 4G/5G core networks, MVNO operations, and full IMS/VoLTE service delivery.
• Proven experience in supervision centre management and incident lifecycle handling.
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards, mission‑critical communications, and MCPTT.
• Cloud, on‑premise hosting, and API integration proficiency.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams, with excellent oral and written communication.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities under pressure.
**Required Education & Certifications**
• Minimum Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Telecommunications, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8 + years of senior operations experience in mobile networks, including managerial responsibility.
• Relevant certifications preferred: 3GPP, IMS, VoLTE, or equivalent network operations credentials.
