Job Description
**Job title** Graduate Intern – Financial Services Public Affairs **Role Summary** Support the Financial Services practice in delivering EU public affairs programs and advocacy strategies for leading financial sector clients. Conduct research, monitor policy developments, and produce analytical briefs, reports, and presentations. **Expectations** - Work 6 months, full‑time, paid internship. - Demonstrate strong commitment to high‑quality service and adherence to deadlines. - Exhibit entrepreneurial, creative problem‑solving and teamwork. - Build and maintain client‑trusted relationships and internal collaboration. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist implementation of public affairs campaigns for major global financial clients. - Monitor EU policy, regulatory and legislative developments relevant to banking, investment, insurance, market infrastructure, data and payments, fintech, corporates and credit rating agencies. - Compile daily monitoring logs, identify key issues and trends. - Draft concise reports, presentations and issue analyses for internal use and client briefing. - Coordinate with senior consultants to shape advocacy strategies and client positioning. - Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, capturing minutes and action items. **Required Skills** - Excellent written and oral communication in English; additional language proficiency preferred. - Strong analytical and research capability on EU policymaking and financial sector issues. - Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Proactive, creative approach to problem solving and stakeholder engagement. - Collaborative attitude and ability to build trusting relationships. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current graduate student or recent graduate with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in political science, public policy, economics, finance, business, or related field with strong European focus. - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of EU institutions and financial regulatory frameworks is essential.
