Job title: Senior Salesforce Developer
Role Summary:
Lead advanced Salesforce configuration, development, and support for a retail sales environment. Design and implement declarative and programmatic solutions (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flows, custom objects, formulas), drive automation, and act as the subject‑matter expert for platform best practices, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, scalable deliverables.
Expectations:
- Deliver high‑quality solutions aligned with user stories and SLA targets.
- Maintain and evolve the Salesforce platform architecture to support business growth.
- Mentor junior developers, foster a culture of continuous learning, and keep up to date with Trailhead and platform releases.
- Manage version control, release cycles, and documentation to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.
- Resolve escalated incidents, change requests, and performance issues in a fast‑paced, metrics‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and deploy Apex classes/methods, Lightning Web Components, Aura components, and process flows.
- Configure custom objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning pages, and org‑wide automation.
- Write SOQL/SOSL queries, data models, and validate against business rules.
- Develop and maintain metadata versioning repositories (Git or similar).
- Execute data migrations, bulk data corrections, and integration scenarios with partner applications.
- Conduct weekly releases, perform regression testing, and audit deployment accuracy.
- Create and maintain knowledge articles, runbooks, and system documentation for users and support teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, propose enhancements to product owners.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Flow Builder, Lightning Page Builder, SOQL/SOSL, and custom metadata management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, database design, and governance.
- Experience with version control (Git), build tools, automated tests, and deployment pipelines.
- Ability to translate user needs into technical solutions, write clear user stories, test cases, and bug reports.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
- Self‑starter who thrives in distributed teams and adapts quickly to new technologies.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & Salesforce Platform App Builder certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Salesforce development.
- Preference for experience in mortgage banking or related finance industry (optional).
