**Job title**
Educational Technology Engineer – Digital Learning
**Role summary**
Coordinate the design, production, and deployment of online training modules for professional insertion programmes at the university. Act as the interface between faculty, subject experts, multimedia developers, and Moodle platform support teams to ensure that content meets quality, accessibility, and pedagogical alignment standards.
**Expectations**
- Fixed‑term contract (1 year) – 100 % full time.
- Start date: 01 Feb 2026 (subject to availability).
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (Bac + 3) or equivalent in education technology, instructional design, or related field.
- French proficiency required; English proficiency preferred.
- Ability to manage deadlines and quality deliverables.
**Key responsibilities**
1. **Stakeholder coordination** – Liaise with faculty, subject‑matter experts, Multimedia and Moodle teams, and professional‑insertion staff to synchronize project activities.
2. **Instructional design** – Script and storyboard modules, aligning learning objectives, outcomes, and assessment strategies with the defined specifications.
3. **Quality assurance** – Implement a quality‑management process, monitor compliance with the project charter, and ensure accessibility and quality criteria are met.
4. **Multimedia production** – Oversee the creation of multimedia learning resources tailored to the target audience (undergraduate and graduate students).
5. **Content adaptation** – Modify existing materials in collaboration with authors to fit the digital format and platform requirements.
6. **Platform implementation** – Manage deployment of modules on Moodle, including configuration, tagging, and version control.
7. **User support & training** – Provide assistance to educators and students on Moodle use, create guides, and conduct introductory sessions.
8. **Tech‑pedagogical veille** – Monitor emerging technologies and instructional design trends to recommend continuous improvement.
9. **Project monitoring** – Track progress against milestones, prepare status reports, and adjust plans to meet delivery dates.
**Required skills**
- Instructional design and curriculum mapping.
- Moodle administration (course creation, backup, reporting).
- Project management (planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication).
- Multimedia resource design (video, interactive graphics, SCORM).
- Knowledge of higher‑education learning frameworks and professional‑insertion pathways.
- Strong written and verbal communication in French; English preferred.
- Team‑oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across disciplines.
**Required education & certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac + 3) in education technology, instructional design, e‑learning, or a related discipline.
- Preferable certifications: Moodle Certification (administrator/author) or equivalent e‑learning standard.
