Job Title: Web Developer Trainee Role Summary: Support the development and evolution of a digital platform in the housing sector by creating backend solutions with Laravel/PHP and front‑end features using Twig, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, while working with Docker, AWS, CI/CD, and MySQL/PostgreSQL. Expactations: Learn production‑grade development practices, contribute to code quality through testing and reviews, collaborate with senior developers, and continuously improve technical and soft skills. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze user requirements and propose technical solutions. - Develop and maintain backend features using Laravel/PHP. - Implement front‑end components with Twig, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. - Manage data in MySQL and PostgreSQL, ensuring schema integrity. - Write and run unit, integration, and regression tests. - Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards. - Deploy and maintain application via Docker, AWS services, and CI/CD pipelines. - Engage in team meetings, knowledge sharing, and process improvement discussions. Required Skills: - Strong PHP fundamentals; experience or familiarity with Laravel or Symfony. - Working knowledge of JavaScript, Twig templating, Bootstrap, and front‑end development. - SQL proficiency and understanding of relational DB concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with containerization (Docker), Git workflows, and CI/CD tools. - Commitment to code quality: unit testing, performance tuning, maintainability. - Excellent communication, teamwork, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
