Social Media and Marketing Assistant
**Role Summary**
Provide creative and operational support to the Marketing & Communications team, managing day‑to‑day social media activity, digital marketing campaigns, partner coordination, event ticketing, and performance reporting for a portfolio of design and innovation events.
**Expectations**
- Deliver high‑quality social media and digital marketing content that aligns with brand strategy.
- Produce accurate, timely reports on channel performance.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and event stakeholders.
- Maintain meticulous calendars, workflows, and asset management processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple brands and platforms.
- Schedule, publish, and monitor posts; manage community engagement.
- Create, edit, and source static, video, and short‑form content.
- Manage content calendars, approval workflows, and partner asset requests.
- Support paid social campaigns and influencer outreach.
- Draft and distribute email newsletters; maintain websites via CMS (e.g., Storyblok).
- Assist digital advertising initiatives (Google Ads, etc.).
- Coordinate marketing activities with media and partner outlets (newsletter swaps, social posts, ticket offers).
- Support production of print and digital collateral (signage, flyers, guides).
- Administer complimentary tickets, discount codes, and track sales reporting.
- Compile quarterly performance reports using Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Analytics.
- Contribute to post‑event sponsor and internal reporting; support PR administrative tasks.
**Required Skills**
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing or communications support.
- Strong organizational and detail‑oriented work habits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with social media platforms, scheduling/reporting tools, email marketing platforms, and CMS websites.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite; basic content creation (video clips).
- Understanding of core marketing principles and campaign execution.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Creative, proactive, and solution‑focused mindset.
- Keen interest in design, culture, and creative industries.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in social media, digital marketing, or analytics (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot, Hootsuite) are a plus.
