Job Description
Job Title: Senior Manager, Amazon Role Summary: Lead the end‑to‑end Amazon business for a high‑volume beauty brand, owning strategy, P&L, and channel execution. Expectations: Deliver accelerated, profitable growth; meet annual sales and margin targets; optimize ROAS; drive data‑driven decisions; champion cross‑functional alignment and agency execution. Key Responsibilities: • Own and forecast Amazon P&L, set annual financial goals, and monitor performance against targets. • Design and execute the 1P/3P Amazon channel strategy, including objectives, tactics, and scheduling. • Allocate and manage advertising budgets to maximize ROAS and overall channel profitability. • Serve as the primary daily liaison with external Amazon agency partners; set priorities, conduct performance reviews, and enforce accountability. • Oversee product launch on Amazon from setup through inventory receipt and fulfillment. • Manage the full marketing funnel using AMS and Amazon DSP campaigns. • Own all Amazon content and creative (A+ Content, Brand Store, PDPs) and ensure brand consistency across internal and external teams. • Own merchandising, event calendar, and promotional initiatives on Amazon; coordinate with Seller/Vendor managers on planning and execution. • Ensure inventory health and timely receipt of goods by working with operations and agencies. • Act as internal subject‑matter expert; advise VP of Digital + Growth and senior leadership on Amazon strategy, performance, and market trends. • Provide weekly and monthly KPI reports, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Required Skills: • 4+ years of high‑volume Amazon Seller or Vendor Central management. • Proven P&L ownership and budgeting experience for significant spend. • Extensive experience directing external agencies to achieve business outcomes. • Deep knowledge of performance metrics (CAC, LTV, ROAS). • Strong analytical, reporting, and data‑driven decision making. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills. • Outstanding organizational, prioritization, and deadline management. • Self‑starter with high autonomy; thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
