Job Title: Salesforce Developer
Role Summary:
Remote Salesforce Developer with 7‑8+ years of platform experience, responsible for architecting, coding, testing, and deploying custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce. Works collaboratively in Agile Scrum or Kanban teams, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and optimal platform utilization across multiple business units.
Expectations:
- Deliver end‑to‑end functional solutions on the Force.com platform.
- Maintain and improve existing Lightning components, Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and unit tests.
- Apply enterprise architecture standards and integration patterns to address business requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Align technical deliverables with user needs, ensuring satisfaction and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, code, test, debug, and document custom Apex logic, Lightning components, and Visualforce interfaces.
- Create comprehensive unit test classes covering all development objects.
- Configure and manage Process Builder, Workflow, and Flow automations.
- Deploy releases across multiple environments, managing release cycles and environment configurations.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, providing prompt technical support.
- Identify opportunities for platform optimization, redesign, or new development initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including business analysts, end users, and other developers.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Triggers, and class design.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns (REST, SOAP, middleware).
- Expertise in automation tools: Process Builder, Workflow, Flow, and Flows.
- Skilled in unit testing, code review, and deploying via change sets, ANT, or Salesforce DX.
- Experience with Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments, utilizing Jira for task tracking.
- Familiarity with SAFe framework and multidisciplinary team coordination.
- Ability to write clear documentation, user guides, and release notes.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification mandatory.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
- Salesforce Lightning Platform App Builder certification valuable.
- Additional certifications in SAFe, Jira Admin, or MuleSoft Anypoint Integration are a plus.
