Expactations: Deliver high‑quality, maintainable COBOL code; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; meet project milestones; adhere to coding standards; provide documentation; support testing; contribute to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain COBOL components within FIS Systematics. • Analyze requirements and translate into technical specifications. • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. • Document architecture, design, and code changes. • Mentor junior developers and share best practices. • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory standards.
