Job title: Chief Financial Officer – Group
Role Summary:
Lead and evolve the Group’s Finance Function, steering financial strategy, performance, and risk to support growth from €250 M to €350 M over five years. Govern financial reporting, cash‑flow management, and capital structure, and champion the transition to new SAP and EPM systems.
Expectations:
- 15+ years of senior finance experience in mid‑size, multi‑entity environments.
- Proven track record of raising €20 M+ capital and managing relationships with banks, funds, and family offices.
- Hands‑on ERP implementation experience, preferably SAP, and strong data‑driven decision‑making.
- Strategic thinker with operational rigor, political acumen, and decisive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and execute Group financial strategy, aligning with growth objectives and disciplined risk management.
2. Deliver consolidated financial reports (EPS, margins, cash‑flows) and decision‑support information to governance bodies.
3. Execute a €20 M capital raise, structuring deals, negotiating terms, and acting as Group representative to investors.
4. Manage a finance team (6 direct, 4‑9 indirect, and subsidiary finance leads), enhancing capabilities, standardizing practices, and embedding internal control culture.
5. Lead the full SAP implementation and design an integrated EPM framework for accurate, real‑time reporting.
6. Participate in Board, Committee, and Executive reviews, providing financial insights for strategic choices.
7. Promote coherence across a multi‑associate model, ensuring alignment and collective performance.
Required Skills:
- Financial analysis & modelling, budgeting & forecasting, consolidated reporting.
- Capital markets expertise, structured finance, and investor relations.
- ERP (SAP) project management, data governance, and EPM tools.
- Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder‑management.
- Decision‑making under uncertainty and operational oversight.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Advanced finance qualification (MBA, CFA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
