Expectations: Deliver a high‑performance, cost‑effective platform that meets >99.98% uptime, drives automation, and aligns infrastructure strategy with product roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: - Define and evolve the platform architecture, integrating IaC, container orchestration, and cloud services. - Lead the implementation of IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and maintain AWS and Kubernetes clusters. - Oversee CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and continuous monitoring of platform health. - Mentor and manage a cross‑functional platform engineering team; set coding and operational standards. - Coordinate incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes to maintain service reliability. - Collaborate with security, data, and product teams to embed security, compliance, and data‑management best practices. - Manage platform budgeting, cost‑optimization initiatives, and vendor relationships.
