Job Description
**Job title:** Platform Manager **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of technology platforms that support the global legal team. Drive platform reliability, scalability, and user experience, ensuring that attorneys have seamless access to the tools needed for high‑quality client service. **Expectations:** - Deliver proactive platform maintenance and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Legal, Security, Operations, Development) to align platform capabilities with business needs. - Maintain high service availability, performance, and security standards. - Provide clear, data‑driven reporting on platform health and usage. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Own the full platform lifecycle: planning, deployment, configuration, upgrade, and retirement. 2. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements for platform components. 3. Monitor platform performance, implement automation, and troubleshoot incidents. 4. Coordinate with IT Security to enforce compliance, data protection, and audit requirements. 5. Develop user documentation, training materials, and support processes. 6. Analyze usage metrics and feedback to prioritize enhancements. 7. Champion platform governance, standardization, and best‑practice adoption across the organization. **Required Skills:** - Strong understanding of enterprise platform architecture (cloud, SaaS, on‑prem). - Experience with platform monitoring, CI/CD, automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). - Project management and stakeholder communication. - Problem‑solving, incident response, and root‑cause analysis. - Knowledge of legal or professional services technology is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications: PMP, ITIL, or equivalent IT service management. ---
