Job Description
Job Title: Insurance Advisor Role Summary: A client‑focused professional responsible for promoting, educating, and selling insurance products while maintaining and growing client relationships. The role involves achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the company’s community presence. Expectations: - Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas. - Build authentic, long‑term client relationships. - Demonstrate strong time management, confidentiality, and discretion. - Maintain active RIBO license; pursuit of CAIB/CIP preferred. - Show willingness to acquire underwriting knowledge and pursue continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver superior customer service to retain clients. - Identify client business challenges and act as an advocate. - Recommend insurance solutions based on client needs. - Utilize basic underwriting principles when advising clients. - Promote and educate clients on available insurance products. - Own client relationships and contribute to the local community profile. Required Skills: - Proven sales track record. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong client‑relationship management abilities. - Effective time‑management and prioritization. - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. - Curiosity and ambition for career growth. Required Education & Certifications: - High‑school diploma or equivalent (minimum). - Active RIBO license. - Working toward CAIB/CIP certification is a bonus. - 6+ months of relevant industry experience preferred.
