Job Title: Technical Sales Representative Role Summary Drive the sales of engineered water treatment and reuse systems to mechanical engineering, development, and contracting stakeholders in the Greater Toronto Area. Engage throughout the design, tender, and execution phases, influencing specifications and securing contracts. Expectations - Build and sustain a robust pipeline of high-value projects. - Achieve quarterly sales targets and contribute to the region’s market share growth. - Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting in the CRM. - Demonstrate professional, consultative engagement with technical decision-makers. Key Responsibilities - **Business Development:** Identify prospective clients; conduct presentations and technical seminars to promote product advantages. - **Design Influence:** Collaborate with engineering teams to provide system drawings, specifications, and value‑engineering support; ensure inclusion in tender documents. - **Tender & Sales Execution:** Coordinate quotations, respond to contractor queries, negotiate contracts, and close sales. - **Market Intelligence:** Track competitor activity, emerging opportunities, and project databases; update sales pipeline status. - **Reporting:** Deliver monthly sales performance summaries and pipeline updates to management. Required Skills - Advanced technical aptitude in mechanical, HVAC, or water treatment systems. - Proven specification‑driven sales experience with complex engineering products. - Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. - Ability to manage long, multi‑stage sales cycles. - Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot or equivalent). - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the GTA. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or related engineering discipline (preferred). - Sales or technical certifications (e.g., IFX, AHRI, or industry‑specific training) are an asset. ---
