Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer Role Summary: Develop, maintain, and enhance software products using C# and .NET Core. Design and manage MS SQL Server databases, create stored procedures, and implement RESTful APIs and XML integrations. Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and analysts to deliver high‑quality solutions. Expectations: Deliver clean, well‑tested code in a fast‑paced environment with frequent releases. Communicate effectively across functional teams, make informed trade‑offs, identify risks early, and work independently while ensuring alignment with project goals. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain C#/.NET Core applications, including ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor Pages, or ASPX components. - Design, implement, and optimize MS SQL Server databases, queries, views, and stored procedures. - Develop and consume RESTful APIs and XML data interchange. - Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. - Work with QA and business analysts to define requirements, test plans, and validate functionality. - Utilize PowerShell for automation tasks and support. - Apply AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) to improve code quality and debugging. Required Skills: - Strong SQL proficiency (queries, views, stored procedures) with MS SQL Server. - Deep knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core MVC, Razor Pages, or ASPX. - Experience with PowerShell automation. - Familiarity with RESTful API design and XML handling. - Logical problem‑solving skills and root‑cause analysis. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, release‑driven environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator are advantageous.
