Job Description
**Job Title:** Full Stack Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Develop and maintain high‑performance, accessible web applications for a deep‑tech program‑management platform. Lead front‑end implementation, collaborate on API design, and contribute to overall architecture while mentoring teammates and ensuring code quality. **Expactations:** - Availability for 45+ hour workweeks in a fast‑paced, agile environment. - Strong communication; over‑communicates status, blockers, and ideas. - Embraces extreme ownership and iterative development with frequent deployments. - Provides and receives constructive feedback professionally. - Works effectively with remote collaboration tools. - Holds or can obtain TS/SCI clearance; must be a U.S. person per ITAR requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead development of responsive, pixel‑perfect UI from Figma designs using React, HTML5, CSS3. - Maintain and evolve design systems and reusable component libraries. - Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts (REST, GraphQL) and performance optimization. - Review and mentor code, enforce best practices, and ensure consistency across the front‑end stack. - Diagnose and fix UI/UX bugs, performance bottlenecks, and cross‑browser issues. - Participate in product and technical design discussions, influencing architecture decisions. - Contribute to internal documentation, onboarding guides, and tooling for front‑end workflows. **Required Skills:** - React (including hooks) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. - HTML5, CSS3 (preferably Tailwind CSS). - Experience with RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus. - Golang for backend services. - SQL/PostgreSQL database interaction. - Understanding of modular code architecture and reusable component design. - Version control with Git (GitHub) and CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions preferred). - Ability to write unit and integration tests (React Testing Library, Playwright preferred). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance (ITAR compliance). - No specific certifications required; security clearance and U.S. person status are mandatory.
