Job Title: Junior Java Developer Role Summary: Entry-level software engineer for cloud-native, microservices-based platforms in the iGaming industry. Collaborate in cross-functional agile teams to develop and maintain real-world gaming applications from day one. Structured onboarding and mentorship provided for growth. Expectations: Motivated learner, team-oriented, organized/detail-oriented, open to feedback, enthusiastic about real-world systems and modern engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop software solutions under senior engineer guidance - Write clean, testable code using object-oriented principles - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - Learn platform tools via structured onboarding - Troubleshoot and resolve bugs in development and production systems - Expand knowledge in software design, version control, automated testing, and cloud-native architecture Required Skills: - Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, Python) - Basic understanding of object-oriented programming, software development principles, version control (e.g., Git), and debugging/testing fundamentals Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
