Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Develop and maintain Teleosoft’s CountySuite product suite using C#, .NET, T‑SQL, TypeScript, and React. Collaborate with product and customer champions to translate requirements into clean, scalable code, ensuring high quality and defect‑free deliverables. Contribute to code reviews, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement within a collaborative, solution‑oriented team. Expectations: - Deliver reliable, maintainable code that meets functional and UX standards. - Demonstrate ownership of tasks, accurate estimation, and timely completion. - Communicate progress and obstacles clearly to peers and leadership. - Embrace best practices, design patterns, and coding standards. - Actively participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Write and refactor C#, TypeScript, and T‑SQL code for web and database layers. - Build and maintain UI components with React adhering to accessibility and UX guidelines. - Design, implement, and upgrade features, enhance existing functionality, and remediate defects. - Interpret product and customer requirements documented in work items. - Maintain, upgrade, and optimize the existing codebase for performance and reliability. - Collaborate with product leads and customer advocates to define and refine requirements. - Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adopting suggestions. - Identify and mitigate risks, resolve obstacles, and contribute to risk‑management discussions. - Engage in continuous learning and share improvements with the team. Required Skills: - Proficient in C#, .NET Framework & .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework. - Experience with TypeScript, React, and front‑end development. - Solid understanding of T‑SQL, SQL Server, database design, and query optimization. - Familiarity with Windows Server, IIS, and version control (Git). - Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD, issue tracking, and collaboration. - Strong grasp of software development methodologies, design patterns, and coding standards. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. - Effective verbal and written communication with cross‑functional teams. - Positive, proactive mindset, ability to collaborate, mentor, and give constructive feedback. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No specific certifications required; certifications in .NET, Azure, or related technologies are beneficial.
