**Job Title:** Software Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java‑based services and RESTful APIs for high‑volume transaction processing. Contribute to cloud architecture decisions, primarily on Google Cloud Platform, and ensure reliable deployment using Kubernetes and containerization. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Java/Software Engineer. - Proven ability to work in fast‑changing, high‑throughput environments. - Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to evolving tech stacks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and enhance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. - Design, implement, and support RESTful APIs. - Deploy, monitor, and manage services on Kubernetes clusters. - Participate in architectural design and decision‑making for GCP‑based solutions. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑performance services. **Required Skills:** - Java (core) and Spring Boot framework. - Container orchestration with Kubernetes. - Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL. - Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. - Version control (Git) and CI/CD pipeline familiarity. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java SE, Google Cloud Professional Engineer, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus but not mandatory.
