Job Description
**Job title:** ServiceNow Lead Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that align with enterprise ITSM/ITOM requirements. Lead platform enhancements, upgrades, and integrations while ensuring performance, security, and compliance. Act as a technical liaison between business stakeholders and the Digital Technology team, driving process improvement and innovation through Agile/SRDC practices. **Expectations:** - U.S. citizen, hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). - Limited travel (conference or annual HQ gathering). - Deliver high‑quality, scalable ServiceNow applications on time and within budget. - Maintain documentation of architecture, configurations, and data flows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead design, development, and implementation of custom ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM). - Drive platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and best‑practice implementations. - Provide day‑to‑day support, incident resolution, root‑cause analysis, and long‑term fixes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Partner with ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, and integration teams to enhance discovery, automation, and asset management. - Document architecture, code, configurations, and data flows for traceability. - Lead special projects and workstreams focused on process optimization and ROI. - Advise on integration standards (REST, SOAP, JSON, APIs). - Educate and present design impacts to cross‑functional teams. **Required Skills:** - Strong expertise in web technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, JavaScript. - Advanced ServiceNow development and implementation experience (5+ years). - Deep knowledge of ITSM/ITOM modules and enterprise service management frameworks. - Proficiency with SDLC/Agile methodologies and DevOps principles. - Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder alignment, problem‑solving, and leadership. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - ServiceNow certifications (Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or equivalent). - ITIL foundation or higher (preferred). - Knowledge of COBIT, financial planning, budgeting, and business acumen is a plus.
