Job Description
Job Title: Junior Salesforce Administrator Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end support for an enterprise Salesforce implementation, focusing on declarative development, automation, integration, and user enablement. The role facilitates CRM strategy execution, coordinates cross‑functional initiatives, manages campaign workflows, and ensures data integrity and system performance. Expectations: • 0–2 years of experience in Salesforce administration or related CRM work. • Proven ability to design and maintain declarative custom objects, fields, flows, validation rules, and Lightning pages. • Experience with automation tools and integration concepts, with Marketo, CPQ, or ticketing databases considered a plus. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset. • Excellent written and verbal communication, active listening, and stakeholder engagement. • Ability to manage multiple priority projects, work independently, and maintain data confidentiality. • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities: • Configure custom objects, fields, record types, and Lightning record pages. • Create and maintain flows, workflow rules, and process builder logic to maximize productivity. • Support automation and integration requests; build solutions using Salesforce Flow or similar low‑code tools. • Collaborate with marketing to develop target audiences and execute campaign workflows. • Manage user lifecycle: activate/deactivate accounts, update roles, profiles, and permissions. • Conduct quality assurance, testing, and documentation of new features for admins and end users. • Report on campaign metrics and results to stakeholders; manage day‑to‑day campaign operations. • Monitor data sources (data warehouse, Marketo, phone systems, SMS‑MMS), troubleshoot errors, and ensure data quality. • Maintain, track, and implement internal product or feature requests and enhancements. • Deliver end‑user training, troubleshoot issues, and provide first‑line support before escalation. • Handle special projects and assignments as directed by business needs. • Ensure protection of personally identifiable information in compliance with all privacy regulations. Required Skills: • Salesforce declarative configuration (custom objects, fields, formulas, validation, Lightning pages). • Workflow, process builder, and Flow automation. • Integration fundamentals (e.g., Marketo, CPQ, ticketing systems). • Data management and quality monitoring. • Documentation and training delivery. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. • Effective communication, teamwork, discretion, and multitasking. • Ability to work independently and under high‑pressure, flexible schedules. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification is preferred but not mandatory.
