Job Description
**Job title**: Junior Software Developer – Web & Mobile **Role Summary**: Entry‑level developer contributing to user‑centric web and mobile experiences for a responsive portal and mobile application. Works within an agile, cross‑functional team to design, build, test, and deploy full‑stack solutions primarily using React, React Native, and Node.js. **Expectations**: - Deliver clean, maintainable code that meets security, accessibility, and quality standards. - Collaborate closely with designers, product owners, and QA to iterate on features. - Continuously learn new technologies and industry trends related to web/mobile development. - Participate actively in agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprints, retrospectives). **Key Responsibilities**: - Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive web applications (React, HTML5, CSS3). - Build mobile experiences using React Native and responsive web patterns. - Integrate with backend APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP). - Apply best practices for security, performance, and accessibility. - Manage source control using Git; perform code reviews and merge processes. - Assist in functional and unit testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development workflows and standards. **Required Skills**: - Proficiency in JavaScript ecosystems (React, React Native, Node.js; familiarity with Vue.js or Angular acceptable). - Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles. - Experience integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP). - Knowledge of version control (Git) and basic CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of UX fundamentals, accessibility (WCAG), and secure coding practices. - Ability to work effectively in an agile, collaborative environment. - Basic software testing and quality assurance skills. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Associate’s degree **or** high‑school diploma (or equivalent) with at least two years of relevant experience. - Vocational/technical coursework may substitute for experience when matched to the required skill set. - No additional certifications required; background screening applicable.
