**Job Title:** Director of Cybersecurity Operations
**Role Summary:**
Lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy and operations, ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑performance technology environments. Execute the organization’s cyber strategy, oversee incident response, governance, risk management, and build a high‑performing security team.
**Expectations:**
- Direct the planning, execution, and continual improvement of cyber operations.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide strategic oversight of monitoring, detection, and incident response aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Coordinate incident response across technical and business units; lead post‑incident reviews.
- Standardize and automate monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- Audit security SOPs, infrastructure, and architecture for compliance with standards and policies.
- Report on security posture through monthly updates and leadership forums.
- Design and implement cyber strategies and solutions for secure connectivity across all platforms.
- Deploy, integrate, and optimize security technologies and threat intelligence platforms.
- Assess and recommend innovative technologies and best practices to enhance security posture.
- Manage multiple high‑priority projects from initiation to closure.
- Lead the execution of a multi‑year cyber operations strategy.
- Build and scale a high‑performing security team through strategic hiring, mentorship, and development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders to align security operations with enterprise goals.
- Partner with cyber risk governance to develop frameworks, policies, and playbooks aligned with NIST CSF and enterprise risk strategies.
- Prepare for and manage internal and external audit readiness; maintain cyber risk registers and key risk indicators.
- Define, track, and report on KPIs measuring operational efficiency, risk reduction, and client value.
- Drive cyber awareness initiatives, embedding best practices across the workforce.
**Required Skills:**
- Leadership of enterprise‑scale cyber operations.
- Expertise in incident response, monitoring, and detection (ITIL aligned).
- Proficiency with security technologies, threat intelligence, and automation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Experience in risk management, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Project management of multiple high‑priority initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision‑making abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive digital and technology leadership experience.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience managing technical and security teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.
