Job Description
Job title: AI Research Scientist Role Summary: Conduct cutting‑edge research on AI alignment, safety, and explainability, developing novel methodologies and publishing findings in top-tier venues. Expectations: Deliver high‑impact research outcomes, publish peer‑reviewed papers, prototype and deploy alignment tools, and contribute to the open‑source community. Key Responsibilities: - Research advanced alignment, interpretability, and observability techniques for large‑scale models. - Design, prototype, and validate novel methods (e.g., LRP, SHAP, ICE, CEM). - Collaborate with ML engineers and senior developers to integrate solutions into production pipelines. - Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and product specifications. - Present research at conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.) and keep the community informed via preprints (arXiv). Required Skills: - Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning concepts. - Expertise in deep‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch). - Experience with Transformer architectures, GANs, and other generative models. - Knowledge of explainability methods (LRP, SHAP, LIME, Integrated Gradients, CEM). - Proficiency in MLOps, cloud/on‑prem deployment, and model production engineering. - Ability to work with diverse datasets: text, tabular, categorical, image. - Clear written and verbal communication for documentation and presentations. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline. - Proven record of peer‑reviewed publications or substantial contributions to open‑source ML tools.
