Job Description
**Job Title** Head of Used Vehicle Sales (Sales Manager – Pre‑Owned Vehicles) **Role Summary** Lead the used‑vehicle sales team and commercial secretariat within the concession. Drive revenue growth across retail, agent, financing, and ancillary product channels. Align operations with budget targets and corporate strategy through collaborative cross‑functional partnerships. **Expectations** - Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets set in budget. - Demonstrate strong commercial development and team‑management skills. - Provide operational autonomy while ensuring compliance with internal standards. - Foster a professional, high‑performance culture within the department. **Key Responsibilities** - Manage and coach the entire used‑vehicle sales and commercial secretariat team. - Develop and execute sales strategies for store, agent, financing, and complementary product portfolios. - Monitor and analyse sales performance to drive continual improvement. - Collaborate with Marketing, Quality, and After‑Sales divisions to align programs and service excellence. - Represent the used‑vehicle function in executive and departmental meetings. - Recruit, onboard, and conduct targeted training for new and existing staff. - Maintain inventory control, pricing strategy, and contractual agreements with suppliers. - Report on key metrics, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management. **Required Skills** - Proven experience leading a used‑vehicle sales service (minimum 3–5 years). - Strong commercial acumen with a track record of exceeding sales targets. - Leadership and people‑management skills: coaching, talent development, performance management. - Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and translate findings into actionable plans. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Proficiency in sales management software and CRM platforms. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or automotive sales (e.g., Certified Automotive Sales Professional) are an advantage.
