Job Description

**Job Title** Research Engineering Internship – AI, Computer Vision & Visualization **Role Summary** Provide technical research and development support to a team focused on advancing visual experiences through computer vision, graphics, and machine learning. Work on projects ranging from deep neural network optimization for vision tasks to generation of synthetic high‑quality imagery using generative models. Contribute to AI integration into production workflows, quality control enhancement, and automated content creation pipelines. **Expectations** - Graduate student in CS, EE, Applied Math or related field, expected to graduate 2025‑2026. - 1–2+ years of software engineering experience. - Minimum GPA 3.5. - Strong Python or C++ coding abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Willingness to work on-site as required. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and evaluate deep neural networks for image segmentation and object detection. - Develop and refine generative models (e.g., Stable Diffusion) for realistic visual content creation. - Support integration of AI components into existing production pipelines, focusing on workflow automation. - Build quality‑control algorithms to improve product image standards. - Generate synthetic photo‑quality imagery via image content pipelines. - Clean, process, and prepare datasets for training and inference. - Maintain and update PostgreSQL databases and associated image assets. - Collaborate on UI components using Python or React to support visualization tools. - Deploy models and services on cloud platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in NumPy, scikit‑learn, OpenCV, Blender API, TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Experience with image generation GenAI models. - Strong algorithm design and implementation. - Software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD). - Data processing and cleaning capabilities. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL and image asset management. - Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Required Education & Certifications** - Enrolled in a master’s (MSc) or doctoral (PhD) program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field. - Expected graduation between Fall/Winter 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026. - Minimum GPA 3.5. - No specific professional certifications required.
