DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Build, deploy, and manage scalable, high‑availability systems that support cloud‑native logging and security analytics. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate workflows, improve reliability, and ensure seamless software delivery across CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and container orchestration.
**Expactations**
- Deliver fully automated CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments that meet reliability and security compliance.
- Maintain high service availability through robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Continuously improve automation scripts, tooling, and documentation to increase team efficiency.
- Communicate status and progress clearly to cross‑functional stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
- Develop and manage scalable cloud infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Configure and monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and other observability tools.
- Containerize applications (Docker) and orchestrate workloads in Kubernetes or ECS.
- Automate processes via Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance and security in deployment pipelines.
- Manage version control (Git), branching strategies, and release management.
- Optimize cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) including Lambda, RDS, S3.
**Required Skills**
- 3+ years DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
- Scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
- IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines.
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
- Cloud: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.
- Source control: Git, GitFlow.
- Unix/Linux system administration.
- Object‑oriented programming experience (Java, Scala, Python, Node.js).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or Terraform Certified Associate are advantageous.
