Job Description
**Job Title** Data Scientist **Role Summary** Data Scientist responsible for building predictive models, designing and managing data collection and processing pipelines, and communicating analytical insights to both technical and business stakeholders. Works onsite to ensure data integrity, security, and quality through policy development and testing procedures. **Expectations** - 2–3 years of professional experience in data science or related analytics field. - Demonstrated ability to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions in a collaborative team environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop, test, and deploy predictive models and other advanced analytical solutions. - Design data collection, extraction, and mapping methods to address specific research questions. - Identify, assess, and document data sources, access rules, and quality standards. - Extract and process information from structured and unstructured datasets. - Create and maintain database designs, data models, and management systems. - Define and implement data administration policies, standards, and contingency plans to mitigate security risks. - Conduct research on data availability, suitability, and collection policies. - Lead or coordinate teams of data administrators in policy implementation and quality control. - Perform security and quality assurance testing; resolve conflicts and troubleshoot issues. - Communicate findings, business implications, and technical details to diverse audiences. **Required Skills** - Statistical analysis and machine learning (e.g., regression, classification, clustering). - Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or equivalent data‑science programming languages. - Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Knowledge of database design, relational and non‑relational systems. - Understanding of data security principles, access controls, and compliance standards. - Strong documentation and reporting skills. - Ability to translate complex analytical results into actionable business insights. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field. - Certifications in data‑science, machine‑learning, or database management are a plus (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, Google Professional Data Engineer).
