Job Description
**Job Title** Cybersecurity Analyst **Role Summary** Execute day‑to‑day security monitoring, incident triage, and response for network, platform, and application assets. Lead phishing awareness and training initiatives, develop tool use cases, and document security processes while serving as a subject‑matter expert for the IT team. **Expactations** - Rapid master‑of­-existing systems and tools. - High literacy in networking, identity, host and OS security. - Strong communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Creativity and proactive problem‑solving in ambiguous environments. - Availability for after‑hours support and incident on‑call duties. **Key Responsibilities** - Configure, monitor and maintain cyber‑security solutions (SIEM, endpoint, email, URL filtering, DNS security). - Triage alerts and manage the full incident response lifecycle. - Investigate and analyze security events; develop new use‑case rules. - Design, conduct and report on phishing and awareness campaigns. - Produce monthly/quarterly reports, documentation, and ad‑hoc materials. - Mentor junior analysts and provide cybersecurity guidance to IT staff. - Participate in major incident handling and post‑mortem reviews. **Required Skills** - 2+ years Information Security or Security Operations. - 3+ years IT experience. - Proficiency in networks, operating systems (Windows/Linux), PKI, cryptography. - Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls. - Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python). - Familiarity with secure development practices and open‑source security tools. - Excellent verbal and written communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - BA/BS in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or equivalent. - CISSP (preferred) or equivalent professional certification.
