**Job Title** Platform Engineer – Cloud Networking (AWS) **Role Summary** Design, operate, and continuously improve low‑latency, highly available AWS networking for real‑time gaming workloads. Ensure performance, security, compliance, and automation across the gaming platform. **Expectations** - 3+ years of hands‑on experience in network/cloud engineering or DevOps. - Proven track record of managing production AWS networking at scale. - Strong automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting mindset aligned with gaming‑industry demands. - Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps, SRE, platform, and security teams. - Fluent in English (French an advantage). **Key Responsibilities** 1. Build and maintain AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Global Accelerator, and load‑balancer architectures for real‑time gaming workloads. 2. Optimize routing, connectivity, and packet flow to minimize latency and maximize throughput. 3. Implement and enforce network security controls (Security Groups, NACLs, WAF, Firewall Manager, PrivateLink) and segmentation to meet regulatory requirements. 4. Automate networking infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Git, and GitOps workflows; create reusable modules and enforce version control. 5. Deploy and manage deep observability solutions: VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, ELK/EFK, Grafana, Prometheus, and X‑Ray. 6. Diagnose and resolve network latency, packet drops, routing inefficiencies, and scaling bottlenecks that affect gameplay. 7. Work cross‑functionally with platform, game, and security teams to ensure seamless connectivity and rapid incident response. **Required Skills** - AWS Networking: VPC, TGW, DX, Global Accelerator, Route53, NAT, ENI, ALB/NLB/Gateway LB, F5‑BIG IP LTM. - Network protocols: DNS, BGP, TLS, VPN, IPsec, HTTP/2+, TCP/UDP optimization. - Security & traffic control: WAF, SG/NACL, Firewall Manager, IAM, PrivateLink. - IaC & automation: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Git, CI/CD pipelines. - Monitoring & diagnostics: CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, ELK/EFK, Grafana, Prometheus, X‑Ray. - Strong scripting (Python/Go/bash) and peer‑reviewed deployment practices. - Knowledge of gaming‑industry compliance and data protection requirements. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field. - AWS certifications (preferred): Solutions Architect – Associate, SysOps Administrator – Associate, Advanced Networking – Specialty. ---
