Data Scientist
**Role Summary**
A client‑facing Data Scientist who collaborates with a Lead Data Scientist to translate business needs into predictive or generative AI solutions. Responsibilities span from problem definition and data collection to model development, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong Python expertise, end‑to‑end ML lifecycle knowledge, and the ability to communicate technical insights to business stakeholders.
**Expections**
- Work under the coaching of a Lead Data Scientist.
- Engage directly with clients to understand needs and define measurable AI problems.
- Deliver end‑to‑end solutions that are accurate, scalable, and operationally viable.
- Continuously enhance skills across all AI domains: model theory, algorithm design, deployment, and monitoring.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify and translate client problems into predictive or generative AI tasks.
- Gather, clean, and analyze existing data; advise on additional data sources.
- Build, tune, and evaluate predictive models or generative solutions.
- Assess model generalizability, performance, and business value.
- Deploy models to production, integrating with business applications via APIs or dashboards.
- Set up performance monitoring, quality indicators, and model refresh workflows.
- Share expertise internally, keep abreast of AI advancements, and contribute to technical knowledge base.
**Required Skills**
- Proficient in Python; deep knowledge of libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, and llama‑index.
- Experience with data engineering tools: SQL, Docker, Git, FastAPI, Streamlit, N8N (workflow automation).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Scaleway).
- Strong statistical reasoning, feature engineering, and model validation skills.
- Ability to build and expose models through REST APIs or streaming interfaces.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Autonomous and collaborative mindset; self‑driven continuous learning.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Optional certifications in ML/AI, cloud platforms, or data engineering are welcomed but not mandatory.
