Job Description
Job Title: Technical Support Analyst Role Summary: Provide advanced technical support to external clients, diagnosing and resolving complex software, database, and API issues. Collaborate with client management, development, and product teams to deliver solutions, maintain high customer satisfaction, and improve support processes. Expectations: - Work second‑shift hours (12:00 PM – 8:00 PM ET). - Manage multiple priority cases independently. - Communicate effectively with non‑technical users and cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate, diagnose, and resolve escalated software problems. - Escalate unresolved issues to development and follow up. - Provide timely updates and resolutions to customers. - Document issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system. - Conduct root‑cause analysis and recommend preventive fixes. - Reproduce bugs, test fixes, and validate deployments. - Train customers on software features and troubleshooting techniques. - Offer feedback on support processes and contribute to procedural documentation. Required Skills: - Proficient troubleshooting of desktop software, databases, APIs, or cloud solutions. - Strong SQL and database technology knowledge. - Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) or debugging tools. - Prior technical support experience. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical thinking. - Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. - Experience with ticketing systems (Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira) a plus. - Ability to interpret application logs and system error reports.
