**Job Title:** Sales Intern (2026) **Role Summary:** A 12‑month on‑site internship focused on developing core sales competencies within a third‑party logistics firm. The intern will support lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting for the sales team, while receiving hands‑on training in prospecting, presenting, and pipeline management. Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus performance‑based bonuses and commissions. **Expactations:** - Meet weekly activity targets for lead outreach and qualified appointments. - Maintain accurate CRM data and timely reporting of sales metrics. - Participate actively in training, shadowing, and team meetings. - Demonstrate a proactive, resilient attitude toward rejection and feedback. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, and training teams to align messaging. **Key Responsibilities:** - Research and identify prospects using lead‑generation platforms. - Qualify leads by assessing needs and fit with company services. - Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and social‑media engagement. - Log and update prospect information in the CRM system. - Schedule and prepare appointments for the full‑time sales staff. - Track outreach activities and report progress to sales leadership. - Assist senior sales staff with pricing and negotiation insights. - Support pipeline development to drive new customer onboarding. - Attend sales technique, industry, and market‑insight training sessions. - Shadow experienced sales professionals to learn best practices. **Required Skills:** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Competitive drive with integrity. - Humble attitude; receptive to constructive feedback. - Self‑starter; comfortable learning from mistakes. - Problem‑solving orientation. - Resilience in handling rejection. - Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) – preferred but not mandatory. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - No specific certifications required.
