Job Description
**Job Title** Solutions Architect – Digital Pathology **Role Summary** Act as the technical and sales expert for digital pathology hardware (scanners) and associated software. Deliver product demonstrations, support customer needs, and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of competitors to achieve sales goals and high customer satisfaction. **Expectations** - Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the territory. - Close >60 % of opportunities with successful technical presentations in Salesforce. - Travel approximately 50 % of the time for pre‑ and post‑sales activities, trade shows, and training. - Provide rapid technical support to existing accounts and prospect for new opportunities. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct detailed product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs for prospects and existing customers. - Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager to forecast and track sales pipeline in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM). - Serve as the primary technical advisor on hardware and software for digital pathology solutions. - Monitor and analyze competitive offerings through literature review and field surveillance. - Maintain current knowledge of medical imaging regulations, IT infrastructure requirements, and industry trends. - Deliver high‑quality post‑sales support and troubleshooting to ensure customer success. - Prepare technical proposals, ROI analyses, and solution diagrams for customer engagements. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years of medical imaging or medical device sales and support experience. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining >60 % close ratio. - Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms. - At least 1 year of experience managing complex IT infrastructure in healthcare settings. - Strong communication skills – able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. - Ability to travel up to 50 % of the time and hold a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. - Solid problem‑solving, strategic planning, and tactical implementation capabilities. - Experience diagramming IT solutions and networking concepts is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). - No mandatory professional certifications required.
