Lead continuous improvement initiatives, enforce safety and quality protocols, and maintain production schedules in a poultry processing environment. **Expactations**: - Uphold the highest safety standards and promote a culture of compliance. - Maintain on‑time production by managing staff schedules and workflow. - Deliver effective coaching to improve performance and engagement. - Enforce food safety, OSHA, GMP, and HACCP requirements. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead, train, and develop shift team members, providing mentorship and performance feedback. - Manage shift scheduling to meet production targets and resource needs. - Monitor and enforce safety and quality standards throughout the work area. - Identify process inefficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement corrective actions. - Coordinate with other departments to resolve production and quality issues. - Maintain accurate shift records, attendance, and performance data. - Conduct regular safety briefings and incident investigations. - Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety programs, and regulatory standards. **Required Skills** - Proven supervisory/leadership ability (2+ years). - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Proficiency with computer systems, data analysis, and basic math. - Knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA, GMP, and HACCP. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. - High integrity, strong work ethic, and teamwork orientation. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field preferred. - Certifications in food safety (e.g., ServSafe, HACCP, or equivalent) highly desirable.

Job title: QA Supervisor – 2nd Shift Role Summary: Lead and manage QA technicians on the second shift to maintain safe food handling, regulatory compliance, and product quality in a poultry/meat manufacturing environment. Expectations: - Proactive leadership and scheduling of QA team members. - Strong communication with USDA personnel, management, and cross‑functional teams. - Commitment to continuous process improvement and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise QA technicians; create training materials for weekly QA meetings. - Monitor plant floor, samples submission, and hold releases to ensure compliance. - Perform quality documentation management, including creation, verification, and maintenance of all production and quality paperwork. - Conduct QA hold releases, transfer transactions, and oversee WH transfers. - Order supplies and manage inventory of QA materials. - Communicate deviations from specifications to management and technicians. - Assist in preparation and execution of customer, corporate, and third‑party audits. - Implement new programs and procedures to enhance safety and quality. - Review documents for completeness and accuracy; ensure regulatory compliance (USDA, FDA, etc.). Required Skills: - Previous QA and food manufacturing experience, preferably in poultry or meat processing. - Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient with computer applications and analytical tools. - Detail‑oriented, strong interpersonal skills. - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Required Education & Certifications: - High School Diploma or GED (required). - Bachelor’s degree in Food, Animal, Poultry Science, or related field preferred. - Certifications in GMP, HACCP, or relevant food safety programs are an advantage.
