Job Description
Job title: Junior Accountant Role Summary: Supports the accounting team with daily and month‑end functions for inventory, capital assets, and financing, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Expactations: Accurately review transaction details, prepare reconciliations and journal entries, calculate commissions, assist branch personnel, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Review inventory sale transactions for accuracy. - Manage financing of all inventory and rental assets. - Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. - Reconcile capital assets and rental fleets. - Calculate salesperson commissions. - Prepare and reconcile month‑end journal entries. - Assist branch personnel with inquiries and requests. - Perform related accounting duties as assigned. Required Skills: - Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel. - Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy. - Team‑player with strong interpersonal skills. - Professionalism, confidentiality, and growth mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree or diploma in Accounting or Business discipline. - 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience. - Desire to enroll in the CPA Professional Education Program (preferred).
