Job Description
**Job Title:** SC Cleared 1st Line IT Support Technician **Role Summary:** Provide first‑line technical support for an internal IT environment. Resolve user‑reported incidents via phone, perform routine tasks such as password resets, document all actions, and coordinate with second‑line teams when escalation is required. **Expectations:** - Deliver professional support to end users on a contract basis. - Maintain accurate records of user details and incident data. - Escalate unresolved issues promptly to second‑line support. - Demonstrate adherence to security protocols, including strict use of SC clearance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Receive and manage inbound support calls. - Identify and resolve common technical problems. - Perform password resets and basic system reconfigurations. - Log incidents in the ticketing system with complete details. - Confirm and update user information and company data. - Escalate complex or unresolved tickets to second‑line teams. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 1 year of basic IT support experience. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Analytical troubleshooting ability. - Detail‑oriented documentation habits. - Ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Current SC clearance. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current substantive Security Clearance (SC). - No specific degree required; practical IT experience is mandatory.
