Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Software Engineer Role Summary: Entry‑level software engineer building AI‑native automation for financial services. Responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining the core banking platform, delivering end‑to‑end features, and ensuring scalability, security, and auditability. Expectations: Deliver meaningful contributions from week one, own features from concept to production, apply best software engineering practices, balance speed with sustainable design, and actively improve engineering processes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable, secure, and auditable systems and workflows for the core banking platform. - Spike new technologies and evaluate product opportunities through rapid proof‑of‑concepts. - Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate complex, regulated banking processes into automated workflows. - Own feature development end‑to‑end: specification, coding, testing, and deployment. - Maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit and integration testing, and continuous knowledge sharing. - Participate in retrospectives and contribute ideas to elevate team engineering practices. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and full‑stack development (React, GraphQL, REST, Express). - Experience with Prisma, Redis, Postgres, AWS, and Styled Components. - Strong system design skills and ability to build maintainable, scalable architectures. - Familiarity with coding best practices, continuous integration/deployment, and code review processes. - Demonstrated ability to ship features quickly while maintaining high craftsmanship. - Ability to build and showcase personal projects using the required stack. Required Education & Certifications: - Recent graduate (within last 2 years) from a top‑tier technical program (engineering, computer science, or related field).
