Job Title: Line Cook Role Summary: Prepare and cook menu items in a fast‑paced kitchen, maintain station cleanliness, adhere to food safety standards, and collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely service. Expectations: Deliver consistently high‑quality dishes, take pride in presentation, support banquet and restaurant service, and adapt to changing event needs. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items per recipes and quality standards. - Set up and stock stations with supplies and ingredients. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation. - Follow food safety protocols, safe handling, storage, and sanitation practices. - Assist with prep work, banquet plating, and various cooking techniques for different service styles. - Work closely with the culinary team for smooth kitchen operations and timely service. - Support kitchen leadership in creating a positive, productive environment. - Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills: - 1–2 years experience in restaurant, banquet, or high‑volume kitchen. - Excellent knife skills and strong knowledge of cooking techniques. - Ability to work flexible evenings, weekends, and event‑based hours. - Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Safe Food Handler’s Certificate (asset). - Culinary Trade Certification or Red Seal (asset). ---
