Specialisterne USA is a non-profit that works with organizations to help them integrate more neurodiversity into their workforce. We provide recruitment, staffing solutions, and management support to businesses interested in diversifying and expanding their talent pools to include those who think and problem-solve differently. We recognize that many neurodivergent people face barriers to accessing and maintaining meaningful employment. Our recruitment, onboarding, and management processes are different and designed to avoid these barriers. The result is that employees’ greatest strengths can emerge, setting the tone for exceptional detail, problem-solving, and innovation. We also carry out outreach and public education. Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance applications and data pipelines for a global client data platform. Lead implementation of cloud‑based data processing workflows, evaluate and integrate data sets, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives and commercial impact. Expactations: - Deliver production‑ready code within tight deadlines. - Demonstrate initiative, ownership, and urgency in problem solving. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to global stakeholders. - Proactively identify automation opportunities and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Build and deploy scalable data management tools using Java, Python, or React. - Engineer data processing pipelines and optimize data flows for large‑volume client and vendor data. - Evaluate, select, and acquire internal or external data sets to support business decision making. - Integrate cloud‑based processing pipelines and data distribution with data platform teams. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and testing frameworks. - Collaborate with partners in a distributed environment and support program delivery across the division. Required Skills: - Intermediate proficiency in Java, Python, React, or SQL. - Basic data modeling skills (Excel or similar). - Version control experience with Git. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. - Excellent verbal, written, and instant‑messaging communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline. - No specific certifications required.
