Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Help Desk 1 – 12 Month Contract **Role Summary:** Provide first‑line technical support to internal users across multiple channels (self‑service portal, call centre, chat). Resolve hardware, software, network, and mobile issues, manage tickets within SLA, and collaborate with second‑level support. **Expectations:** - Bilingual in French and English required. - Adhere to ITSM processes and SLA metrics. - Participate in on‑call rotation as needed. - Deliver timely, documented solutions for end‑user problems. **Key Responsibilities:** - Act as primary contact for internal customers via Wajax support channels. - Monitor and manage Help Desk ticketing system, ensuring categorization, prioritization, resolution, or escalation. - Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and peripheral issues. - Provide printing support for all sites. - Configure and personalize remote workstations; schedule upgrades/repairs. - Install new software releases, system upgrades, and troubleshoot software problems. - Escalate unresolved incidents to second‑level support and follow up. - Provide after‑hours on‑call support on a rotational basis. **Required Skills:** - Proficient with Windows operating systems. - User account, hardware, and software management experience. - Knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and related technologies. - Experience with cloud‑based ITSM ticketing systems (e.g., FreshService). - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and prioritization abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - College or University degree (BA) in Information Technology or related field. - 1–2 years of desktop support experience. ---
