DevOps Developer
**Role Summary**
Provide continuous maintenance, support, and automation for client applications and infrastructures. Work collaboratively with cross‑disciplinary teams to improve application logic, API integrations, deployment pipelines, and cloud environments while ensuring performance, security, and efficient resource usage.
**Expectations**
- Deliver reliable, scalable solutions with a focus on best practices (MVC, DI, micro‑services, serverless).
- Communicate progress and technical decisions effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
- Quickly resolve performance and security incidents, maintaining high service availability.
- Proactively monitor and suggest improvements in deployment tools and cloud services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and evolve business logic for existing applications following architectural best practices.
- Sustain REST APIs linking application layers with web/mobile front‑ends.
- Write unit and integration tests to validate business logic.
- Automate deployments and manage server infrastructures.
- Standardize cloud (PaaS, SaaS, FaaS, IaaS) and deployment environments to ensure cross‑team coherence.
- Diagnose and resolve performance and security issues.
- Create cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Participate in designing cloud hosting architectures (Azure, AWS).
- Simplify access management and define migration plans.
- Track task progress and report on commitments.
- Conduct technology scouting for deployment tools.
**Required Skills**
- **Automation:** 5+ years with Terraform and/or Ansible.
- **Software Development:** 3+ years in .NET/.NET Core (C#), ASP.NET with REST APIs; SQL Server; React or Vue.js (desirable).
- **CI/CD:** Proficient with Azure DevOps or equivalent pipelines.
- **Containerization:** Docker; Kubernetes orchestration.
- **Infrastructure as Code:** Terraform, Bicep, Ansible; scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python.
- **Operating Systems:** Windows, Linux; virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
- **Cloud Platforms:** Azure, AWS experience or familiarity; PaaS, SaaS, FaaS, IaaS.
- **Soft Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication in English and French; analytical, autonomous, and collaborative.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC/DEC) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- No specific certifications required, but knowledge of Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or similar platforms is preferred.
