Job Description
**Job Title** Pricing Studies Analyst – Construction & Civil Engineering **Role Summary** Responsible for preparing comprehensive pricing proposals for construction, civil works, and structural repair projects. Steering the pricing process from bid preparation through delivery, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, cost controls, and turnaround deadlines. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate, competitive bids for a variety of building and civil engineering projects. - Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. - Collaborate across design, procurement, and execution teams to secure project success. **Key Responsibilities** - Compile and file tender documentation that complies with client specifications. - Organise and schedule pricing studies to meet submission deadlines. - Conduct quantity take‑offs, prepare cost calculations, and produce detailed quantitative reports. - Identify and assess technical solutions to optimise performance and cost. - Execute detailed design studies (measuring checks, extensions, solution refinement, calculations, layout plans, planning, methods, means). - Develop execution and detail drawings. - Draft project timelines and budget forecasts. - Engage suppliers and subcontractors for cost quotes and feasibility information. - Prepare a comprehensive global offer and author the proposal narrative. - Handover the complete bid dossier to the project execution manager. **Required Skills** - Proficient in construction cost estimating and quantity take‑off techniques. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English. - Competence in CAD and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel). - Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. - Professional certification in estimating or quantity surveying (e.g., RICS, IELTS, or equivalent) is a plus. ---
