Job Description

Job Title: Back End Developer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high‑performance server‑side systems using Python (Django/FastAPI) that integrate AI/ML APIs, real‑time WebSocket communication, and distributed task queues. Expectations: Deliver production‑grade code, implement robust error handling and monitoring, optimize concurrent workloads, and collaborate on architectural decisions with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services with Python/Django or FastAPI. - Integrate AI/ML services (OpenAI, Google AI, Anthropic) and manage their connections. - Build real‑time communication infrastructure using WebSockets. - Develop error‑handling, automated recovery, and health‑check mechanisms. - Optimize performance for concurrent operations, multiprocessing, and asynchronous tasks. - Create monitoring dashboards and production reliability tools. - Collaborate on system architecture, technical decisions, and code reviews. Required Skills: - Strong Python programming with deep understanding of Django. - Design of scalable, maintainable multi‑component systems. - REST API design, OOP principles, and software architecture patterns. - Experience with FastAPI, Django, Pydantic, or similar frameworks. - Integration of AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Google AI, Anthropic). - Process lifecycle management, error recovery, and reliability practices. - Debugging, production monitoring, and performance optimization. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
