Job Description
**Job title** Hotel Regional Director of Sales **Role Summary** Lead strategic outbound sales efforts for a portfolio of six multi‑branded hotels across Canada and/or the USA. Drive revenue growth, nurture client relationships, and deliver consistent sales performance within a shortened cycle while operating remotely with periodic in‑market visits. **Expectations** - Achieve revenue milestones within a six‑month sales cycle. - Maintain a robust sales pipeline in Salesforce. - Deliver bi‑weekly strategy presentations to hotel partners via MS Teams. - Conduct 2–4 in‑market visits per year to strengthen relationships with hotel owners and GMs. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute proactive sales strategies for all assigned hotels. - Prospect new accounts and grow market share of existing accounts. - Manage sales pipeline, track progress, and shorten sales cycle using Salesforce. - Conduct bi‑weekly MS Teams presentations reporting progress and strategy. - Coach general managers and front desk staff on best practices and peer‑to‑peer selling. - Represent hotel partners with professionalism, ensuring high client satisfaction. - Collaborate with POD teams to support the Dynamic Sales Solution model. - Travel to client sites for in‑market visits as needed. **Required Skills** - Minimum 3 years of hotel guestroom sales experience in business transient, crew, and government segments within a select‑service hotel. - 2 years of dual or area hotel sales experience preferred. - Strong understanding of hotel systems, RFP process, and brand tools. - Proven record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. - Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong organization, time‑management, adaptability, and remote work discipline. - Ability to build and sustain relationships with hotel owners, general managers, and internal teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred). - Industry certifications such as Certified Hotel Sales Professional (CHSP) considered an advantage.
