**Job Title**
DevOps & Technical Support Engineer
**Role Summary**
Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines for production and test environments. Owns incident lifecycle management, resolves issues across the platform, and implements automation, monitoring, and security best practices.
**Expectations**
- Full‑time hybrid role with simultaneous DevOps and Tier‑2 technical support duties.
- Solution‑oriented individual with strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Timely delivery against client SLAs/KPIs, clear status updates, and proactive process improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
*DevOps*
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Build and operate Linux‑based production and test environments; provision resources via IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Develop automation scripts in Python; orchestrate containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and governance in a regulated context.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed DevOps practices.
*Technical Support*
- Own incident tickets from opening to resolution, maintaining SLA compliance.
- Communicate regular updates to clients, setting realistic expectations.
- Diagnose and fix complex platform, integration, and workflow issues.
- Document solutions, FAQs, and internal processes; share knowledge across the team.
- Identify patterns, bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
**Required Skills**
- Linux system administration, troubleshooting, & performance tuning.
- Python scripting for automation.
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, etc. (Azure familiarity a plus).
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Monitoring & observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
- eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) optional.
- Networking fundamentals & cloud security principles.
- Strong written & verbal communication; client‑facing experience.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer, Terraform Associate, Linux Professional Institute Certification, or comparable credentials are highly desirable.
